Why Centennial Women Choose Women's Pelvic Health & Wellness

Our patients often tell us they've been dismissed by other providers, rushed through appointments, or given generic exercises that didn't work. Here, that changes.

What sets us apart:

  • Time and attention — 45-75 minute sessions, not 15-minute check-ins

  • Individualized care — no cookie-cutter protocols, just treatment designed for your body

  • Trauma-informed approach — we create a safe space where you can speak openly about anything

  • Proven results — our patients find relief after years of being told to "just deal with it"

  • Whole-person treatment — we address the root cause, not just the symptoms

  • Strengthen and relax the pelvic floor for labor and delivery

  • Learn effective pushing strategies to minimize tearing

  • Relieve pelvic girdle pain, hip pain, and low back pain

  • Build a postpartum recovery plan before baby arrives

Postpartum Recovery & Healing

Whether you're newly postpartum or years out from childbirth, healing is still possible. We treat:

  • Diastasis recti (abdominal muscle separation)

  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Urinary incontinence (stress, urge, or mixed)

  • Bowel incontinence and constipation

  • Painful intercourse (dyspareunia)

  • Safe return to running, lifting, and high-impact activities

Pelvic Pain & Dysfunction

Chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, vulvodynia, painful periods, painful intercourse — these conditions are real, they're treatable, and you don't have to live with them. We specialize in helping women who have been told "it's normal" or "there's nothing wrong." You deserve answers.

Bladder & Bowel Health

Leaking when you laugh, sneeze, or exercise? Always searching for a bathroom? Struggling with chronic constipation? These symptoms are common but not normal — and we can help. Our occupational therapy approach gets to the root of bladder and bowel dysfunction so you can live freely again.

Perimenopause & Menopause Care

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause affect your pelvic floor. We help Centennial women navigate this transition with:

  • Treatment for urinary urgency and frequency

  • Relief from stress and urge incontinence

  • Support for painful intercourse and vaginal dryness

  • Addressing pelvic heaviness or pressure

Frequently Asked Questions for Centennial Patients

Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. In Colorado, you can access occupational therapy directly without a physician referral.

Do you accept insurance?
We are out-of-network providers. We provide detailed superbills for potential reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. We recommend contacting your insurance before your first visit to verify coverage.

How long are appointments?
Initial evaluations are 60-75 minutes. Follow-up sessions are 45-60 minutes — giving you the time and care you deserve.

What should I expect at my first appointment?
We'll begin with a thorough conversation about your medical history, symptoms, and goals. Then we'll perform a physical assessment (always with your full consent and comfort in mind). You'll leave with a clear understanding of what's happening and a personalized treatment plan.

Is internal pelvic floor work always necessary?
No. Internal assessment and treatment can be very effective, but we never do anything without your consent. We'll discuss your options and work at your pace.

What if I've already tried pelvic floor therapy and it didn't help?
We hear this often. Many women have had frustrating experiences with rushed appointments or generic handouts. Our approach is different — deeply personalized, evidence-based, and rooted in understanding your body.

What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Depending on your treatment, you may be asked to change into shorts or a gown.
